Kyle coming down to the beach house for three days made it even more special.\u00a0\u00a0 My best friend since 7th grade, it is hard to describe how much I love her and how close I feel to her.\u00a0 Sharing her daughter’s wedding…..\u00a0\u00a0 sharing time at the beach…..<\/p>\n

Spending time with Regina, Vince and Kuma (their beautiful Akita who passed away just a few days ago) was also very, very special.\u00a0 Seeing old pictures she has, learning about my Dad being on one of the first Regis Philbin TV shows talking about being a single father raising children – was an amazing revelation.\u00a0 I’d love to somehow get a transcript of that show.\u00a0 My sister is a beautiful soul and her beauty is reflected in how she has lovingly decorated her beautiful home.<\/p>\n

Spending time with Pat (Mark’s mom) was deeply moving.\u00a0 At 78, she’s still the wonderful, loving mom I never had.\u00a0 Spending time with her, sharing pictures and thoughts, and then hearing her say as she walked me to my car with her arm around me – “isn’t it nice to have someone to love” – touched me in a way words can’t express.<\/p>\n
