{"id":1780,"date":"2008-11-01T23:01:10","date_gmt":"2008-11-02T07:01:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shawnna.wordpress.com\/?p=574"},"modified":"2008-11-01T23:01:10","modified_gmt":"2008-11-02T07:01:10","slug":"walking-my-talk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shawnna.org\/?p=1780","title":{"rendered":"Walking my talk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I recently wrote about <a href=\"http:\/\/shawnna.wordpress.com\/2008\/10\/15\/lesson-relearned-actions-speak-louder-than-words\/\">learning a lesson for the umpteenth time<\/a> that what someone does is much more reflective of who they really are, than what they say &#8211; or write on a website.<\/p>\n<p>This applies to me too.<\/p>\n<p>I do hope that what I write reflects who I am.  I know what I write reflects who I am striving to be.<\/p>\n<p>For those I have hurt emotionally, I sincerely apologize.  For those I have hurt spiritually, words can never express the self-loathing I have for doing so.<\/p>\n<p>Self-awareness is the key.  How we talk to each other matters.  How we treat each other matters too.  Especially in this cyber world.<\/p>\n<p>When I find that being around someone causes me to &#8216;cringe&#8217; with increasing frequency, I know it is time to &#8216;move on&#8217;.  This isn&#8217;t &#8216;arrogance&#8217; or a &#8216;lack of mental capacity&#8217;.
