Self awareness
I would not be who I am today if my Beloved had not led me into ten years of spiritual direction.

Even the best of master teachers can only show you the “Way.” You, and only you, can take the steps. The Buddha is attributed to have said, “If you see the Buddha, kill him.” What he meant was that you must focus on taking the steps of the journey, not on the person who is teaching you. If you focus on the person, trying to see how you can be like them, you lose your way. If you think that all you have to do is learn all they say, and do what they tell you, you lose the integrity of your journey. If you try to take steps without first entrenching yourself in the teachings you risk ever floundering. You must draw on what this site points you to, but just drawing on it is not the journey. Each step you initiate from these teachings is the journey.
The Journey to self integration is the most important inner journey in life. The journey leads to healing, understanding, discipline, discovery of the deeper places of your mind, the reality of your soul, and realization that you are Loved and accepted by the one who has given you your own free will.
This is YOUR journey,
No one else can take it for you,
No one can take it away from you.
You do not have to belong to a religion or church or sect to take this journey.
Believing in God is not necessary to take this journey. Finding God along the way of the journey comes in how you want to encounter the very source of Love.
