We’ve been planning for years to relocate to the Denver area to be near Matt, Ashley and Isabella. I promised Ryan he could finish his degree here in Washington.

Well…. Ryan finished his Bachelor’s degree and certification as a teacher. Woo hoo! He’s worked so very hard, and I’m incredibly proud of him!

So in late September/early October we will be relocating. We found a wonderful house to lease in Castle Pines that actually has a lot more room than our home here in Washington. And all of our furry family members are welcome! It was absolutely meant to be!

I’m feverishly doing some much needed maintenance of the house and replacement of the deck so we can lease out our home here. I had to have one side of the fence replaced and now the new Trex deck is being installed. I will be replacing garage doors and having the house painted too. I replaced quite a few glass in windows (much cheaper than buying new windows!). New interior carpet and paint will finish it up after we move out. I’ve hired a property management company and filled out all that paperwork yesterday.

We absolutely LOVE our house here and have no intention of selling it! It feels so good to give it some much needed upgrades!

This is the old deck that I built with Ryan’s help. Time to go!
